Hurricane

Hurricane is a song I wrote that can have many meanings but it deals with embracing or accepting parts of yourself that you hold in your inner world that you don't show to others. It could be things like tension, conflict, worry, insecurity, or restlessness you may encounter that lies underneath due to unresolved feelings or perceptions of how you want things versus how things are. There is a lot brewing underneath, essentially a hurricane that always resides. There is this part of yourself that you don't like. We can often shame or beat ourselves up on things being our own worst enemy. Instead of fighting yourself, it is about redirecting these so called issues or negatives and redefining them or giving them a new purpose. It is essentially turning negative energy to a place of compassion by letting it be like you are just standing in there in the middle of the hurricane and not reacting negatively and turning it into a place of power or drive and doing something good with it.
